29 June 2025
Ideally the GOOG Play media kit will be offered as a freebie at Printer's Row in September before going to Colorado Oct. 18 for the Pikes Peak Zine Fest, since there's a co-production opportunity for "Spells" at the Dairy Arts Center.
13 July 2025
Forwarded contributor agreements to Illinois Arts Council for grant request beginning September 9. Tech has not arrived.
14 July 2025
Post-production was 'always already' in earnest, though the aspiring engineer's offer to assist me with it was diverting. Unfortunately he cannot complete the project; his approach to compilation was not at the standard I was achieving but he communicated on the relevance of sound-mastering which is still being worked out.
15 July 2025
I'm relying on my own data-gathering to write blurbs for each artist and/or actor that contributed though if you have specific asks for me to reference lmk. 500 copies in 64-pages saddle-stitched from a Northbrook, Illinois, HP facility tentatively distributing 9 September 2025.
16 July 2025
Thanks for the sabbatical, I've returned in the scene files.
18 July 2025
I'm compiling.
- Today finished arranging all recordings into discrete scene files.
- AI will help cross-fade room tones.
- not yet a usable file since the timing is auto-generated, but I'm happy with how it sounds:
- testing the limits of automation:
- I synced the files with a second backup drive today.

20 July 2025
Achieving two scenes-worth of compilation a day is motivating, so I'm phoning in a meeting with the banker.
- on line but holding.
- actually given my recorded narration took latitude for devising, there aren't cues parseable by automation in the playscript.
- Google's world maps onto Simon & Schuster's international footprint.
21 July 2025
Progress.
- not at clip but quality.
- It's like one scene is a movie.
- Each scene was originally typed on a manual word-processer until I had no ribbon left.
- actI_scene-1 is past handiwork.

- There's one version of the draft testing the auto-processing that's okay.
- I would love to incorporate music in lieu of narration/stage directions at certain moments.
- "the eye of the needle"... it's almost there (<- that line emerged in the last batch processing, reminiscent of subliminal messaging) though MATT's quiet. whether it was an automated addition is a suprising question because though the python-script was coded by a bot, it's a text file running on my hardrive...
- hopefully a2s2 with full ensemble could be assembled and likewise processed tomorrow for the total story.

22 July 2025
Found it.
- no luck with roomtone crossfades.
- zero AI processing.
- A1S2 is halfway done, with ETA by night; our timeline is set.
- keyboard glitch again.
- a1s2 is compiled, restarting.
- Two scenes complete for review on Friday with my new file drop system.
- if next week my rate is 1.5 per day, and 2/day the following week after Monday8/4 (estimate), the first draft could be reviewed from 8/12 through September.
23 July 2025
- I'm hearing some clicking during the narration, now twice and this line's not expendable.
- neither Audacity nor ChatGPT is responsive.
- I uploaded an edited version of the script to Google Play because that's the only way to extract their robot for the narration, which will replace me but not today since it'll be 24 hours or more before the live epub is on sale and eligible for automation.
- The review link I'll send individually (much) later today.
- Itch enables surveillance by Doubleclick and Google; Neocities got a Google tracker recently.
25 July 2025
- what if, in print each of the 500 'media kit' comix provides secure log-in credentials to a proprietary streaming site; for retail instead of freebie.
- electronic access to the media kit or streaming would be provided gratis to vision- and hearing-impaired communities in lieu of review copies for journalists, as typical by industry standard.
- volunteers for researching solar power?
27 July 2025
- Extracted a 'click' from Martin's "line"
- almost got the workflow together!
28 July 2025
- haven't replaced my narration, and won't
31 July 2025
Thanks to stellar труд from 21 actor-artists/artist-actors (wrt A1S3, Shazia Edgell and Suwanrie Janse van Rensburg)
- having a 'backing track' will be incidental.
- a "literary variety" revue for "experimental work that may not always be able to be preformed easily elsewhere" begins October 16.
31 July 2025
- rememberedly Gary Shteyngart wrote his first novel during a nonprofit job, four hours a day: knowing that is probably why the Random House publicity job wasn't for me.
4 August 2025
"an audio zine featuring contributions by twenty-one voiceover artists reading asynchronously (before compilation) from a shakespearan script model."
6 August 2025
Itch.io doubledquadrupled the upload capacity for this project.
- Vicky Ward calls Christopher Mason a "former Maxwell friend" (Ep. 1 41:21).
- Martin Dillon is "Robert Maxwell
'sbiographer" (Ep. 3 50:38). Yet so is Tom Bower (54:34)?
8 August 2025
Charlotte was 2024's most popular "city-inspired baby name" with Madison ranking 6th according to my Internet provider.
10 August 2025
More clicking during my narration from the audio enginner, Act Three Scene Three ('bottom of 69') "She enters the frame, throwing a look to MARCUS" I say "Padma" instead of "she."
- Ben Tupper got on stage at Old Town School of Folk Music with his acoustic guitar and memorable orange jumpsuit; then one afternoon I kissed him. (A walk after school; he asked to know what 'no' sounded like in Russian ('nyet' — Yahoo!) A best friend from Ogden enrolled with another school knew about ska, which had a concert on that stage I attended thanks to Ben perhaps.
- thanks, Caroline Brackett, for A3S3 _an-arch/y.
11 August 2025
A few seconds of GOOG Play maybe audible on my podcast here.
- Safari profiles Google trackers on my.itch.io/~, Google Analytics (which I practiced at The Fashion Spot) and Google Tag Manager, which is also on neocities.
- recording unmasked location (IP addresses... search term: "what is my ip"), browser version and operating system, plus time spent on each URL for a narrative view on user activity per session at the specified domain, Google leverages data to subscribers.
- Probably DockDockGo's aggregating to macro.
12 August 2025
A surge of excitement greeted me when I recalled going back to "GOOG Play" composition tomorrow after a weekend [of drawing font].

18 August 2025
the app to vend at Midwest Queer & Trans Zine Fest (Oct 18-19) is successful.
Local comic Vishnu Namboodiripad ("Parag") was married in Bloomington this weekend, congratulations! Finding this work through Annoyance Theater, where he studied musical improv (he's also an alum of iO), Vishnu began acting at the Minnesota Children's Theatre Company and Wild Swan Theatre Company.19 August 2025
hearing phrases sound radically different based on where they're interlocuting
20 August 2025
Billing "Chanel" in place of a 'found name.'
- The character "Mary" renders simultaneously like the author of Frankenstein (sometimes presented 'as if' via Hollywood reimagining), my fiction, and her actant: Dr. Leigh.
21 August 2025
Itch.io has no apparent maximum project price: GOOGPlay-font's retail price will be decided...

22 August 2025
"parvati" and "padfoot" cite named entity theory wrt Rowling's minor lit; furthermore Padma Lakshmi is host of Bravo TV's Top Chef, and for trivia nerds her ex Salman Rushdie is a living giant of magical realism (who was online with us for tacos at the Gowanus ACLU wedding Andrea invited me to).
- Now could be a time for saying, I'm designing a holographic mini-computer with ~5G access.
- Today's 🥧 has most everyone's actual name encoded with the metadata; sorry Zezas...

26 August 2025
I will grant Copious Consulting access to review (a feature-length version tomorrow)... "GOOG Play" is asynchronous theater!
- The media kit/visual aide will include a printing of Andrea's "Ready to Where?" comic
27 August 2025
Preliminary version in full shared to the site
28 August 2025
GOOGPlay font, which is almost complete in Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, and web/dingbat symbols, could be sold to K-12 libraries for negotiable price* in conjunction with the publication of MyFirstApp (an education product that can hopefully be subsidized by computer orgs for free to minors through K-12 schools with the distribution of MontBlanc styluses) -- which now has speculative design for access protections making its entity realization conceivable. Adults will be firewalled from viewing activity as contributors or moderators.

30 August 2025
With only 6-7 days of Logic Pro remaining, I'm trying to mix-in roomtone, finalize edits, and export to normalize peaks etc in another app.
4 September 2025
I'm downloading a "free trial" of Affinity. ~2.66GB
Act 1 is exported with backup.
"I need counseling about MIDIs.
It looked like I'd lost Act 3!

The 'cover' of g0oGpl@y's media kit/comix starter is an illustration (~storyboard capture) that may get drawn within 19 September.
A one-page press release to video game media will follow.
9 September 2025
gO0Gpl@y resumes on Monday!
(There's enough for an ISBN at worst)
12 September 2025
New DAW with bells-and-whistles expiring 15 October.
Now permitting me to hear more clicking on my narration from the engineer's booth. I will not acknowledge the recording studio in final copy.
My consumer profile would be algorithmically disruptive to stakeholders of gO0Gpl@y.
Affinity Designer works past the trial date so long that it stays open (?).
I can't spot that vandalism in the waveform.
How could I forget the name of peace in the middle east.wav?
15 September 2025
I called ACX.
We have two doctors voicing 'artificial named entities': Nigel Lane ("Alistair") and Dr. Leigh ("Mary").
Four African-Americans labored in advance of compensation.
'On-track to publication' is up-and-running.
Nellie Hill upstages "Chanel" and has the role of "Morgan."
I think Act 1, Scene 1 is ready for audiences.
ACX's Audio Lab approves the encoding.
I'll publish the media comix on Kindle.
16 September 2025
I 'would' feel chagrined about the script having four scenes per act rather than the Shakespearean five. 5x5 *is* 'a square' but a square has four not five sides. The advantage of Shakespeare's formula is how it routinizes structure: each 3 is a perfect middle permitting 1 and 5 to be bookends and 2,4 the 'paragraph transitions' - on the macro and micro levels. The 1669 text, "Love Letters by a Nun,' is epistolary prose in five acts... Aphra Behn's first work is staged in 1670? Wikipedia's say the disputed authorship traveled from Paris to Germany in 1669.
My brag is I sutured an operated waveform so as to witness aurality during Round 1 of editing. (I'm enjoying the plugins)
17 September 2025
I'm drawing myself for the cover: comic-book saturation in Drawn and Quarterly mode.
I made a reference image.
18 September 2025
Building a script to extract room tone from files.
I listened to the file Amazon approved... yuck!
I have roomtone for A1S1.
Polished A1S2 will be shared with 'an influencer' l8r.
gO0Gpl@y is a composition.
19 September 2025
Pikes Peak asked for a payment by today on Paypal, Venmo, Cash App or "contact us for other methods" which I have.
21 September 2025
I emailed a Hachette memoir celebrity author about appearing for a filmed conversation to celebrate our work.
22 September 2025
This project is grateful to On the Spot Theater and Dance Company's "A Pair of Silk Stockings," the dance piece set to Saren Nofs Snyder's recording of a Kate Chopin fiction in Vogue, for expanding my imagination.
24 September 2025
All tracks will be set with roomtone seeming almost like today.
I want to code DRM for a proprietary release but it's like, out of my reach.
Acts 1-4 are...
I'm trying to make sure I am not disappeared from the earth once GO0gLe Pl@y is on sale.

26 September 2025
My plan is to complete the bulk of editing remaining this week, working backwards one act per day.
We're eligible for an IMDB listing assuming "podcast" and "podcast series" aren't the same word and "audio documentary" isn't a listed category, nor is is "audiobook" though that may be accommodated by the guidelines.
"first day of the second week of quarter; everyone remembers it, This is when you're thinking, 'which class am I going to drop to stay above water?'" — Howard Wolf / "Fizz...it felt really, really good... the administration... when the new school chairs... as a graduate student" / "The f-word... animated" / "I just read [redacted for sexual harassment]... dialogue... dialogue... fundamental... to operate... when you walk around and meet our students, our students are not neccessarily elite when they arrive" / "we live and breath by the survey results so please, please, please fill that out... thank you very much, most importantly, for your engagement"

'when the moon meets your eyes like a big pizza pie, that's landing in the stars...'
Then the ad hoc plan would be 'make it sound as good as possible and then publish on October 15' with an ad hoc cover if needed; I'm thinking of making clay figurines and photographing them with painted ceramic tiles as backdrop for a defamiliarized mimesis. But to publish on Audible, I need to push a book through to Kindle and that will require creating a transcription of the edited piece.
However that's not the case on Voices by InAudio, which distributes to Audible but if they can't place gO0gPl@Y I need the alternative path.
30 September 2025
Tom Morello from "Rage Against the Machine" wrote the music and lyrics to Goodman's Revolution(s) which is a keyword Michaela Bronstein studies — in the context of Fyodr Dostoevsky's global influence — when she's not teaching The Wire in Baltimore. (The executive director of Modern Language Association is also affiliated with a former Goodman employee's alma mater.) It's on from 4 October to 9 November, coinciding with the debut of Gogol Plié. I had no idea when that shame of referring to Jeff Mangum as Neutral Milk Hotel in an email to Astra Taylor when she offered the Re:search Collective tickets to a concert would dissipate. Yeah, I would have taken the babysitting job if it weren't for "Almost Famous."
Andrea heard the intro as of September 21.
Without financing for the comix starter yet, I'm postponing its printing for hypeing BLEACH around May 2026 — after the publication of Our Rabbinical FanFic which could have, likely, poetry contribution and "The Toaster," a short story by Jamieson Cash, enclosed instead of paratext.
Act Five is anticipating pre-pub tonight.
File render is really slow now... oh it's a technical error.
Projection: 4 tmrw, 3 on 5netsa.
23:02, "I may invite the family of Four Rivers Farm for a listening party of the audiobook if @Herbivore_Chicago would cater (and participate). I’d provide fruit." / 23:02, "Yulia Guelman loved 'I may invite the family of Four Rivers Farm for a listening party of the audiobook if @Herbivore_Chicago would cater (and participate). I’d provide fruit.'"
Berkeley, April 2021: typing "dissertation project" into Google Docs autocorrected with "projection."
1 October 2025
Reality: one scene solved and I need a break before hauling on public transit to peer review.
I'm uploading for ecommerce on October 15th. I think 4 and 5 can be done tomorrow, 1-3 next week. Only remaining business would be the cover and paratext. I'd want to do one more listen-through with my 'pencil' Mon-Tuesday Oct. 13-4. I should probably work on the cover this weekend.
2 October 2025
A4S2, I'm here until midnight.
I went into A4S4 again to swap out the effect and merely edited without noticing it being in here anywhere... Oh, it's an Act 5...
cannot
Tentatively forwarding A4S1.
realy SO happy with it... transcendant!

Thanks and congrats (unless you're a reporter or lurker). There's one technical solve scheduled for tomorrw, and then one/two more full edits possible before upload on Wednesday.

I could no longer find the technical issue in my notes, but I re-edited 1.5 scenes will get the rest tomorrow for solving the notes issue.

Okay. I'm going to listen while 'designing a cover' this weekend and then edit backwards Monday; that designates Tuesday for writing ekphrasis and Wednesday for uploading.
It's an artwork I would study if not for my involvement.
I would see Peter Zezas and Michael Wolff in conversation. I would videotape it myself.
Will probably trial payment system within 25 hours of a buy. (Per platform...)
After that, I'll be setting aside 'one business day' within every fortnight to compute transfers from the previous period.

Today I'm transcribing while listening so there's a book to publish as audiobook foundation (maybe to earn me a share), hopefully designing the cover.
I coaxed the headphones and DAW into sync; bye-bye GGMM_E5 and iMac Speaker.
Google Play is not containing AI.
Awesome sound effect from Khoa Pham ("Chris") in I.iii
My critics' presumption is a question for contributors to GoogPlay, thus: "Assuming Nika Mavrody has 'preternatural' dis_ability to remember data and your participation has 'intertextual' applications for her future writing, shouldn't we [they and you minus me] demand advance royalties?"
I'm at the halfway-point for today; luckily there's a learning curve however I have to ketchup with the 'stock market' as well.
More like 40%.
Unless any objections, I'll send a promo code to Doc Washington in Berkeley etc if you need one

I got logged out of Bowker during lunch so its finalization and sharing will wait until tomorrow.
I was going to share the ePub with you; instead it's going to be a live draft.
There's a problem with rendering A4S3; the eBook has GP font now (it's really cute).
Oh, the rendering issue is NDB; been there before... (there was a duplicated file near minute ∞

Hello! Please buy Alphabet Play on Google! And stay tuned for info re: Spotify and Amazon et al. PR begins next week.

Ensemble could require I upload on ACX Immediately as of 7 a.m. this morning.
I was hoping InAudio would take ACX distribution off my plate because their audio file requirements are normal; however because of their pricing delay, I have been creating an encoding alternative because though my DAW features pass technically, the result is Capital Tech excluding humans.
I have ACX encoding!
After the first file succeeded by my standards, too, an intermediary step re: CBR wasn't required anymore...

"PLOT SUMMARY ADDITION Plot Summary: This experimental stage play follows a large ensemble of characters-primarily Americans (Marcus, Matt, Mary, Madelyn, Melissa, Michelle, Morgan, Martin, Mason, Maxwell), British characters (Alistair, Anya, Archie, Ava), and Indian characters (Padma, Parag, Parvati, Prashanth, Praveen), along with Australians (Charlotte, Chris)-as they navigate a surreal, fragmented reality. Key Plot Elements The Opening Conflict: The play begins with tension between the Americans and British over identity, cannibalism jokes, and toast. The Americans contemplate eating the British, who defensively offer toast instead. The Holobyte/Telebyte Mystery: Madelyn experiences "telebytes" (or "holobytes")-mysterious technological phenomena that allow her to see disturbing visions. These become a recurring concern throughout the play. COVID-19 Paradox: The characters debate whether COVID-19 happened. Newspapers eventually claim "COVID-19 never happened," despite everyone's memories of lockdowns and the pandemic. This creates existential confusion about reality and collective memory. The Archimedean Point: An unexplained surveillance mechanism begins recording certain characters (first Padma and Parvati, then Martin and Morgan) without their consent. This "Archimedean point" appears on television screens, trapping characters in a broadcast they cannot escape. Trapped in Television: Martin and Morgan become stuck being televised indefinitely. They initially resist but eventually accept their fate as "celebrities," unable to break free from the broadcast even after others try to help. Multiple Subplots: Characters discuss yoga, climbing walls, witchcraft, conspiracy theories, cake baking (Mason's cake becomes a judge competition), mirrors, magic, employment struggles (Chris mourns his cashier job), and Mary's revelation that she is Mary Shelley, author of Frankenstein. The Resolution (Such As It Is): The television is unplugged, freeing Martin and Morgan temporarily, but the fundamental questions remain unresolved. The play ends with characters discussing plant intelligence, ChatGPT, and the nature of reality itself, suggesting that the confusion and technological entrapment are ongoing conditions rather than problems to be solved. Themes The play explores surveillance culture, the instability of truth and memory, technological alienation, identity confusion, and the breakdown of consensus reality in a post-pandemic, hyper-connected world.Anthropic ReasonDoes not meet contribution guidelines. "Thanks! I was trying again with Author's Republic today and have to circle back [to Librs]... There's some discrepancy revolving around royalty rate between what they've set historically, what they're claiming now, and what their Author Outreach lead according to LinkedIn corroborates on her profile. That inconsistency matches a textual error in their technical requirements on the distribution account interface. It's been reported that the enterprise was recently purchased by a larger entity, and furthermore their COO and lead-developer indicate having moved on."

Featuring a comedic ensemble devising global profiles of the anglophone virtual space, Alphabet Play is a futuristic meditation on pandemonium employing the genre codes of field recording & pop music to up-end conventional literary theory."

ACX is 'asking' I resubmit the second version.
I clicked publish; actually setting a price on Audible isn't allowed... (because of the catalog model; if it goes-live I'll update the other catalogue permissions elsewhere).
PublishDrive claims I don't qualify for a refund.
Audiobooks.com says the price is too high.
I'm inquiring to place an ad on OnlySimchas.com

11 November 2025
Audiobooks.com: "We can offer a flat rate payable of $6 USD with a direct contract with us."
"In that case you will never be able to put your book in the Barnes & Noble"
- I said, "I can't pay someone [for distribution] who's in business with Nazis" (though at this point, the convo was about their bid to "handle social media marketing").
I spoke with Digital Marketing Agency for "all the big platforms... ... ...all the big jewish platforms" including OnlySimchas.com, though not often placing ads there specifically because "it's our smallest one."
12 November 2025
hopeful about ACX; followed-up with Understudy this Monday.
Neither PublishDrive nor inAudio (paid and unpaid) have generated new retailer links.

13 November 2025
The hold with PublishDrive is still that 'question' about my cover.
"Please accept my sincere apologies for my mistake, now I can see the author name on the cover image. I accepted your audiobook"
It's the 'square' version; I imagine they think the higher-upside title could be a right-side-up author-name, but that would create a visual hierarchy between the two designations.
"Followed-up" with management at The Understudy by phone; "nudging this along to/with our events person...we'll get back to you as soon as possible"
14 November 2025
"we don't have the cap"
15 November 2025
ACX: "Issue: There is a narrator discrepancy across the cover, audio credits, and metadata. The narrator information must match verbatim across all 3 production elements."
- "Sincerely, Martin"
"My fiction zine paying homage to the soundscape genre is the thiʳᵈ or ¾ᵗʰ installment of the 2025 ISBN trilogy. Called “Alphabet Play,” 979-8-218-82066-4 retails for $50 to protect our royalties though it may be ‘a steal’ for less on the Apple website...Earlier work from the creator is budget-conscious, sometimes even free!"
"Using multimedia formats like the audiobook was intended for accessibility."
Projecting sales in time for the holidays.
17 November 2025
ACX is past metadata and cover review, though may get held up at 'noise floor' (which was the Author's Republic ish) in which case I should hire someone from Upwork.
- I sent the offer already.
- "just to make sure, the voices are from humans not AI, right?"
- 1-3 days ETA
I inquired with the Quill & Query podcast.
19 November 2025
Audible needed for Audiofile's jotform.
There's two (2) Apple links.
"My novel audiobook invited VO artists to narrate a feature-length play staging action between characters generated by Google's AI interface."
Print-on-demand paperback arrived in the mail today.
I'm publishing the hardcover.
20 November 2025
Preliminary files from Upwork; no flags in the Author's Repub tech review.
"I wrote an audiobook about Google's AI narration; it's on Apple https://isbn.neocities.org/currency/abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz"
print-on-demand vinyl
- EAN-13 = 5063692692422
- Metadata complete
- thirty-minutes each side is impossible?
- splitting it into two disks...
- (artwork can't be finalized tonight)
- It will entirely meet target per disk after 500 sales (I committed to designing a six-page booklet)
I resubmitted to Author's Republic, with the six tracks as one 'log' (record).
21 November 2025
I'm looking at a 2LP Diggers Factory campaign & two releases on Elastic Stage. *8-page booklet.
- At $50 each a campaign of 1000 breaks-even at 592, generating $20426.
- A sleeve, label, & booklet...
- I'd like the label to be a 35mm spiral with ensemble's names.
- Sleeve is the POD cover...
- Minus "last-step" artwork, 2LP is published ahead of a 9:30 meeting 11/24.
- They have a physical distribution network... (no added charge)
- Broadcast Music, Inc application processing is 5-7 business days.
"Archimedean spiral"
22 November 2025
BMI affiliation "has been processed" & "Alphabet Play" is in hardcover.
- Author's copy total is 12.28
- I can't get the spiral... I'm pausing design until after the meeting for health reasons.
I'm double-checking Mike Brown's affiliation & adding him as the second author (100% each out of 200).
- Ensemble minus us included in the registration as 'artists.'
I invited Misha Oger to draw the labels.
23 November 2025
Call's via Google Meet.
"we would want the campaign to be launched next week...we'll make more projects together, I have the habit of doing discounts if the first one is satisfying to you."
- Citing lower production costs by $1.2k over email than the auto-estimate.
ACX hasn't moved.
Except for the cover (a collage), I'm probably drawing/writing the booklet by hand.
- (I typewrote the first chapters of Alphabet Play)
- Actually I turned what I thought was a cover into a background for the interior.
Diggers Factory said they communicate weekly with brick-and-mortar using "application."
The booklet will print with waveform for each one of the 20 individual tracks, & (likely) a QR code to this day's edition of the text (as uploaded for POD).
A gatefold sleeve...
Author's Republic emailed to say the 1-min sample was cutting mid-sound, and I relistened after editing that into 'ample' & felt proud re: my engineering.
"Psychadelic."
"Mozhet z'delayim spirale."
24 November 2025
Diggers Factory campaign launches "on December 5th." Webpage is ready minus the YouTube trailer!
25 November 2025
Libraries that buy Alphabet Play may offer it to patrons via OverDrive.
I'm featuring 979-8-218-82066-4 with my slot at zinecoop.org the weekends of December 6 & 13.
'Published' on Author's Republic.
Submitting to AudioFile using Google Play.
- "A student of radio documentary fascinated by War of the Worlds, my work surpasses its market-niche as a parody of AI[-narration]"
26 November 2025
There is requirement for your Adobe Character reaction video in the, for example, Caricature Puppet Style.
"During audiobook creation for the first two installments of my now-trilogy, the Google Play Partner Center recommended its AI-narrated audiobook service. Accessing the interface, I learned that its robot voices should be coded into a dramatic production. Instead I wrote and produced a tale using Google Play’s robot characters & invited artists to devise something ‘posthuman’ (Hayles)."
ChatGPT says the trailer-trailer is friendly.
- Two versions: images/alphabet-play1.mp4
27 November 2025
When I pressed 'play' on the trailer today, my focus turned to sound addthat my default volume settings were low relative to requirement/expectations: on Boxing Day ("Harry Potter") 2024 I made a stewed apple oatmeal with a soy malk that seemd funky only after it plated, and the next day my ears were tinnitus-y; at present my sound-needs are to recognize that low volume is not a strain on my hearing? (Difference in levels is a factor of the virtual setting placing characters in surreal not 'realistic' setting: of course it is a Realist treatment because their situation {comedy} is Online.
28 November 2025
'generate voice-audio from script based on existing recording'
- audio2video nonexistent
- https://isbn.neocities.org/audio/Not%20at%20all%20AI.mp3
- I'll use the IRL recording of ensemble names 'during credits.'
(one name I said unlike how it's thought it in head)
29 November 2025
Tea leaves 'say' I'm completing the trailer in YouTube Studio.
- I'm almost out from Canva Pro Biz (free trial).
Clocking for the week!
30 November 2025
We shall have captions.
- drafted
zinecoop so kindly forwarded a customizable social-media graphic (thus saving my hand from one impromptu creation).
1 December 2025
Since launching "Alphabet Play" (Oct. 15) this site has fielded a daily median of 138 sessions, with a high of 544.
Itch.io page revised with a Calendly link to schedule calls (on my plan).
robin@audiofilemagazine.com
Some of the links that appear on DuckDuckGo Search don't on Google Search, and vice versa.
- "multimodal"

2 December 2025
i emailed AR to inquire re: why ecomm links aren't on the portal but visible using search
- "Retailer URLs on our site are still being refined. Generally, if your book is live on a retailer's platform, a URL will appear automatically. However, we are not able to capture links from every retailer, so if you don't see a URL listed, it doesn't necessarily mean your book isn't available there."
- I requested opting-out of Bookbeat.
- " We will send BookBeat a removal notice today for you." (12:12)
- "to eStories also, please."
- "We do not distribute to eStories." (2pm)
- InAudio metadata: "What's the distribution status on 9798218820664? I notice it's shared to eStories but that outlet wasn't listed on your distribution network. I need it removed from eStories."
- InAudio: "We are currently experiencing a high volume of inquiries, which may cause a slight delay in our response time." (14:23)
- estories: "Warning: this site may be insecure"
- Its logo is similar to Amazon's.
- minorly accessible on Safari; "Press" link in footer though redirects to Triplay.com, which is flagged as being "not a private connection...to steal your personal or financial information."
- TriPlay.com will open ("Next Generation Personal Cloud") / https://triplay.com/media.php/#pressReleasesContainer will not.
PublishDrive, Google, Spotify payout to my checking account; Author's Republic to PayPal at a $10 threshold.
3 December 2025
The price of Alphabet Play on Elastic Stage as CD + Booklet would be $21.40 / shrugs
Releasing something on their vinyl system, though, gives me an opportunity to test how my docs are pressing before the campaign prints.
I created an Itch.io site for this font; their server is crashing for me today & yesterday I asked them to help me troubleshoot their interface not recognizing my Google Play & Apple links to the audiobook (perhaps because it's not an app/game).
Re: the Porrúa link; Spotify IDs audience in Mexico.
